The family interests of each Principal own NZAM equally.

 

Andrew Clements

Chairman

Andrew (Clem) is a principal of Zeus Capital, a private investment company. He was previously Managing Director of Emerald Capital, a Canadian-owned equity investor in New Zealand. He is currently Chairman of Orion Corporation, and a Director of The NZ Refining Company, Ryman Healthcare, Revera Ltd and RDGP Ltd. He is also a Trustee of the Graeme Dingle Foundation.

 



Greg Jones

Executive Director and Principal

Prior to establishing NZAM in 1991, Greg was with stockbrokers, Frank Renouf & Co. Greg has 22 years investment management experience and is an Affiliate Member of The New Zealand Society of Investment Analysts. Greg has a Post Graduate Diploma of Finance from Auckland University.

 



Alan McChesney

Executive Director and Principal

Prior to joining NZAM in 1995, Alan was a senior executive of Fay Richwhite & Co. Alan also has extensive experience in managing and owning private companies. He has 17 years of investment management experience. Alan has a business degree from Auckland University.

 



Simon Tompkins

Executive Director and Principal

Prior to joining NZAM in 1997, Simon had extensive experience in Merchant Banking where he was a senior executive of Fay Richwhite & Co for 12 years. Prior to joining Fay Richwhite & Co Simon was Managing Director of a listed finance company. Simon has 27 years of financial markets experience and is a graduate in law and commerce from Canterbury University and is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants.

 



Richard Riddell

Executive Director and Principal

Richard has 25 years experience in the banking and investment management industries. Prior to joining NZAM, Richard held positions as Vice President, Bankers Trust NZ Ltd and Director, Southpac Investment Management Ltd. Richard has a business degree from Lincoln University.

 

 

 

 



 

Dyrol Lowe

Executive Director and Principal

Dyrol joined NZAM in 2001 after completing his B.Com from the University of Auckland. Dyrol’s prior experience has been in the medical field. He is now responsible for marketing NZAM’s services and managing existing client relationships.

 

 




Eric Mahoney

Executive Director

Eric joined NZAM in 2007. Prior to joining NZAM, Eric was formerly with Citibank, N.A. where he held a number of senior management positions for over 18 years. His last position was Managing Director of Citibank Global Asset Management based in Auckland. Eric is the past President and a Director of The American Chamber of Commerce in New Zealand.

 

 

 

 

Graeme Kershaw

Executive Director

 

Graeme has 24 years in the investment management industry following 10 years in chartered accountancy. Prior to joining NZAM he was Head of Institutional Business Development at BT Funds Management, and prior to that was a Director of Southpac Investment Management for ten years. He graduated with a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University in 1973. He is an associate member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants.

 

 

 

 

Mike Cruickshank

Executive Director

Prior to joining NZAM in 2008 Mike was working for a family office with a particular interest in global equity markets. He has previously worked for Credit Suisse and Royal Bank of Scotland in the UK. Mike graduated with honours from the University of Waikato where he completed a Bachelor of Management Studies majoring in finance.

 

 

 

Philip Crotty

Managing Director of NZAM Asia

Philip joined NZAM in July 2008 as Managing Director of NZAM Asia. He has lived in Asia and worked in senior positions within the financial services industry since 1980. Prior to joining NZAM he held senior investment banking positions in Deutsche Bank from 1990-2004 based in Singapore and Hong Kong where he was Head of Global Corporate Finance in Asia, and CLSA from 2005-2008 based in Hong Kong, where he was Head of Investment Banking. Philip has advised on and/or arranged financing in excess of US$60 billion for clients in Asia during his investment banking career across the full spectrum of equity and debt products. He has an MBA from IMD, Switzerland and M. Agr. Com and B. Agr. Com degrees from Lincoln University, New Zealand.
