• NZAM clients can invest via a segregated account, or for those investors where it is appropriate, through a Portfolio Investment Entity (PIE). The underlying investment of the two options is the same but there are differing tax implications and fee structures.
• Many clients choose not to take an income stream from their investment.
• For those clients who do require a regular income stream from their capital, we are able to achieve this in two ways:
  • by investing a portion of their capital into direct fixed interest holdings, or
  • through a realisation of the underlying portfolio assets
• Our fixed income investments are all investment grade New Zealand fixed interest products rated “A” or above.
